Show and Tell Friday...

OK...I think we are back on track today with our Show and Tell. You know, sometimes I am simply blown away by the beauty of the knitted/crocheted items that folks bring in to show me. Today's show and tell items are like that.

Bernie brought in this gorgeous pi shawl that she had done on a KAL with Goddess Knits. She made it out of the Jojoland Harmony lace yarn. Each week she received 4 charts and she had to pick out one to do on her shawl for that week. So in the end of the KAL, everyone's shawls were different. Here's the finished project and a close up to see the colors. Very, very pretty.

Betsy brought in a sweater that she had made for her niece. She made it out of the Noro Silk Garden DK yarn. The circle shrug pattern she used was Plymouth pattern #594. I had to take a picture of both the front and the back to show the full effect. I've liked this pattern ever since I first saw it. Way to go, Betsy!

Melissa is in one of our Weekly classes and finished a baby blanket out of Plymouth Encore yarn. I know she was thrilled to finish this project. And she did a good job. But then she turned around in class and made a darling vest out of Plymouth Baby Alpaca Grande...using Plymouth pattern #N026. This pattern has been reordered because everyone who saw her vest wanted to make one as well. Melissa finished it off with a shawl pin from Annie Adams Adornments and she's off for a trip to England. Very nicely done, Melissa. I think I might need to make one as well!
If you're interested in taking one of the Weekly Classes, the next one starts on Thursday, October 16. You'll learn a lot of knitting skills while finished up some projects and having a lot of fun with a group of other knitters! Stop by the shop for more information.

Have a great weekend...and keep those needles and hooks moving right along on your projects. And don't forget...I want to see your projects when you've finished them so that they can be showcased on our Show and Tell Fridays. Blessings!
